In the co-main event at UFC 300, Zhang Weili defended the UFC Women's Strawweight belt against fellow Chinese fighter Yan Xiaonan with a clinical unanimous decision victory.
Holloway puts Stamp on "BMF"
The eye-opener of the night came in the "BMF" match between Justin Gaethje and Max Holloway, who was on his way to a unanimous decision victory before the final 10 seconds of the match.
Holloway offered Gaethje a final taste of his hands in the center of the Octagon and the fighters started swinging for the fences, which led to a vicious overhand right from Holloway.
"All I've got to say is I'm him," Holloway said after his knockout win with one second left in the match. "I'm him, guys."
Holloway was just one of three underdogs to win on the UFC 300 card as favorites went 10-3 overall. The 'over' went 8-5 despite eight fights finishing inside the distance.
